New Year's Eve Party at LBQ

Remember those days when you had to find the perfect outfit, a perfect date and a fabulous party to go to. You would begin to plan in November - New Year's Eve. Things have changed for me. I want a nice quiet New Year's spent doing things I love with people I like.

So you will find me with friends working on some baby charity quilts from 4 - 8 on Wednesday. Liberty Bell Quilts is supplying fabric, batting and sewing machines. If you wanted to make a baby quilt for someone special we are selling the kit for the top for $11.99. If you would like to make up some of your stash please feel free. The pattern is a simple Rail Fence . Great for beginners. So bring a friend, a daughter, and yourself you will need nothing else.

My next post is going to be about pajamas and where you can wear them and where wearing them might be a problem. There will be pics of course;

So I am signing out with all my quilting alias

Afterglow

Here I am the day after Christmas, experiencing a terrific afterglow from a wonderful Holiday. The extra bonus for me this year is the joy I share knowing that so many people received hand made items as gifts, crafted with supplies from my shop. It is quite a thrill!
From boxers to quilts, so many beautiful gift items were shared this Holiday.
Our creative sewing center was Santa's work shop those last hours on Christmas Eve, so the pajama pants could be wrapped and opened that night, the quilt bound and ready to snuggle in, the raggy jacket ready to be given to a very lucky lady, all as a result of Liberty Bell quilts being open.
I look forward to sharing more joy with all of you as you craft items for weddings, new babies, and home decorating .

Here we are a few days before Christmas and up to our ears in beautiful snow!
It has been a challenge this month with bitter cold and snow fall everyday, but it really puts everyone in the mood for quilting and sewing.
Warm flannel pajama pants seem to be the current rage and we have some wonderful flannels to chose from. We call them the Urban and Rural collections. Urban is bright and wild blue, green, pink and orange. Rurals are dark green, tan, with leaves, wildlife, pine cones, fish or just plain for the conservative style. We also have some lovely purples, blues, greens, and fabric that looks like a knitted sweater!
